The aim of this assignment was based on research regarding marketing in the fashion retail industry. The vast majority of fashion retailers now use various marketing media to communicate and build relationship with their existing customer base and to attract potential new customers and clientele. The major component of this study was based on how social media marketing can be improved upon with specific focus on my selected fashion retailer.

 

The purpose of any and all marketing strategies is ultimately to improve sales and in turn the profit of the retail business as a whole. My chosen brand was & Other Stories, where I looked into their current social media marketing plan and recommended positive changes where possible with the primary objective in mind to increase its customer base and in turn improve sales. To achieve this object it was vital to identify and examine the current and existing consumer and client base and to acquire some understanding of their competitor’s social media marketing techniques.
